Dr Wen-Shan Sung (Dr Wen) is the medical director of the R Clinic. With extensive experience in aesthetic medicine and general dermatology, Dr Wen integrates mainstream medicine into the delivery of safe and advanced cosmetic medicine.

A skilled cosmetic physician with advanced training in all areas of injectable cosmetic medicine, Dr Wen’s areas of interest and expertise include personalised skin rejuvenation with medical-grade cosmeceuticals and non-surgical facelifts with advanced thread lifting methods.

In addition, Dr Wen is also the founder of Canberra’s first hair transplant centre specialising in follicular unit extraction. Having suffered from a hair loss condition (alopecia) himself, Dr Wen has developed a keen interest in hair loss treatments and dedicates his time and attention to hair loss procedures and techniques.

Dr Wen focuses on treating the face holistically for a harmonious and natural result, and he believes every patient should be treated with a safe, proven, medical approach tailored to their unique aesthetic needs. Outside work, Dr Wen indulges his love of adventure. In summer he’s a kitesurfing enthusiast who loves riding the big waves. In winter, he’s a snowboarding junkie – his ambition is to be able to do a 180 backflip the next time he hits the slopes.
